Another cold rainy day in the Northwest. I was in the mood for a little bit of gingerbread so decided to make these gingerbread men from Elana's cookbook. It calls for the dough to stay overnight in the freezer--I don't recommend this. I think simply putting in the fridge overnight is sufficient. I had to let the dough thaw out before rolling it out.
Anyway--the nice smell of gingerbread in the house makes it so comfy;-) I put a photo of these funny looking men on this blog. They certainly aren't a work of art but they are tasty.
Ingredients--almond flour, eggs, agave nectar, grapeseed oil, spices like cloves, ginger, nutmeg. Yum! Now for the egg nog;-)
